The Promised Neverland, nothing is what it seems to be
Hello again, here with a post shortly after starting the
week. This time I will tell you about a series I watched recently called The
Promised Neverland. This series is an anime that its first season began to air
in January 2019, consisting of 12 chapters and with a second season in process
without a release date at the moment. But why are we going to be talking about
the dates of the series if we can talk about it in itself?
The whole plot revolves around three friends: Emma, Norman
and Ray, three children who live in an orphanage with several other children.
The three of them are both the oldest and also the ones with the greatest gifts
of the entire orphanage, this being something that makes them stand out a lot.
Everything is going well until one day they find out a secret about that
orphanage, something that affects each of the children of this and that makes
these three friends start thinking about how to escape from that place, which
will not be so easy if you want everyone to escape, but if you are not going to
want spoilers because maybe they will be interested then go to where the
paragraph with the asterisk (*) is located.
Every once in a while a child is "adopted" by a
family that will warmly welcome that child. Conny was that girl who had to
leave that night, Emma and Norman were passing through the kitchen when they
saw that Conny had left her stuffed rabbit on the table, and it is for this reason
that they decide to go to the gate, where they go to look for when they are
adopted and also, for some reason, the place they should never go to. But that
last thing did not matter to them and they continued to the gate. When they get
there and look for Conny they manage to find her, but unfortunately she was not
alive. That's when they hear some footsteps and decide to hide, realizing later
that those footsteps belong to a kind of demons which spoke of Conny as if it
were a commodity, an exquisite food that they should bring to the highest class
of them. Scared they manage to escape, and this is when the whole main plot
begins.
*Well, as I told you before, during the plot these three
children plan how to escape together with everyone from the orphanage, where
through the series secrets, stories of the characters and also betrayals are
discovered, where they do not know whether to trust the other person or just
let it slide until it's time to carry out the escape plan, which, worse, they
have their days numbered.
Now, apart from the plot being good and keeping you always
aware of it to know how it will end, there is another very essential thing that
I like, which is a lullaby and anime soundtrack that is not only set as an
environment, but it also has its meaning which at some point in the series is
implied. Also as I said before, the second season is in the process of
creation, although without a release date yet, but if you want to follow the
plot without caring about the animation, the manga of the series is already
complete and finished.
I think this time I wrote a lot in this post, but I had so
much to tell that I preferred not to keep it. See you in the next post!!
Great, interesting, these Japanese have a whole imaginary with their own demons that fascinates me
ResponderEliminarI hear this anime many times and I was spoiled before this post, but I want to see it soon and read the manga.
